Ricardo got in touch with YourStagDone after struggling to find the time to organise Ryan's Stag-Do. During our initial conversations he said that Ryan loved whisky and he wanted to theme the weekend around visiting different distilleries and trying different whiskies.

The group would be travelling from London however two of the group would be driving and with that knowledge in mind, we suggested that they participate in a whisky pilgrimage to Islay where there are 8 different distilleries on one island. Ricardo provided us with a list of suitable dates and after researching ferry times and accommodation availability we settled on an appropriate date and got to organising their weekend.

Ricardo had requested self-catering accommodation so that the group could cook and entertain themselves at night. We were able to source an 8-person cottage with a hot-tub that met all the needs of the group and provided the group with the locations of local shops for any grocery needs they may have. We booked the ferry for both cars and liaised with the accommodation to let them know of the groups anticipated arrival time and had even arranged for a crate of local beers to be delivered to their accommodation. Over the course of the next few days we had planned an itinerary and route so that the group could visit every distillery on the island and were able to work with a local taxi company who happily shuttled the group around the island and back to their accommodation each day.

The highlight of the weekend for Ryan was getting a private tasting and tour of his favourite distillery, Lagavulin.

This was one of the more unusual Stag-Do's as it wasn't our traditional request but we were more than happy work with Ricardo to tailor it to his best friends interests and plan a weekend that was unforgettable.
